THE BARN THAT WAS TRANSFORMED INTO A SCHOOL

Once there was a barn - on the outskirts of Loquard, Germany. The barn was not being used for animals. The village needed a new school.
The village bought the barn and did a lot of work to get it ready for children. They even thought of putting solar panels on the roof to help with the cost of heating.

Where there once was hay and cows, now there is a large open space for kids to play.

In the ceiling, the peak of the barn became a huge skylite to throw natural lighting everywhere.

And the classrooms all around the edge of the building all have large windows and are set up for great learning.
We were happy to see this unique school - the only one like it - perhaps in the world!
