So mom, why was that addition built on the left side? I remember there was a pump in there where we had to wash before we came in. Was that it? Or was that some sort of summer kitchen in the old days?
Also, wasn't Grandpa's study the old entry way to the house at one time? I see there was a door there. I don't remember it from the inside though---probably cause I wasn't allowed in. :-) In fact, I remember more windows there. Was there by the time I came along?
What about that rain spout, did they collect rain water from the roof?
